About the Role

n

We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Fitter to support operations at our Rochedale site. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting. You'll be responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
n
Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
n
Support improvement projects and equipment upgrades
n
Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with CHEP standards
n
Maintain workshop safety and uphold 5S standards
n
Identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices and equipment reliability
n
Participate in site meetings and collaborate with operations teams
n

About You

n

n
Trade qualified in mechanical disciplines
n
Restricted Electrical License (preferred but not essential)
n
Experience in industrial or production maintenance
n




Experience working with Boilers (preferred)Experience working with a HACCP system (preferred)
n
Solid problem-solving and diagnostic skills
n
Adaptable and solutions-focused approach
n
