Warehouse & Stock Assistant (Casual - 2 days a week)
Working alongside our Warehouse & Logistics team, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, ensuring incoming deliveries are received and checked, stock is organised and maintained, and orders are carefully prepared for dispatch.
As you grow into the role, you will also assist with coordinating international shipments, freight bookings and delivery schedules.
Commencing at two days per week, with the chance for additional hours as the role develops.
Ideally, the two days will be spaced across the week, with one day at the beginning and one later in the week.
We would prefer the second day not to be a Friday.
The successful candidate will need to work the same two days each week.
Key responsibilities
Receiving, unpacking and carefully inspecting incoming furniture, lighting and homewares
Organising stock and maintaining an efficient, well-presented warehouse
Preparing, packaging and dispatching orders with exceptional care and attention to detail
Updating inventory systems and maintaining accurate stock records
Assisting with stocktakes and inventory reconciliation
Supporting warehouse maintenance and organisation
Assisting with freight, courier and local delivery bookings
Supporting the coordination and tracking of incoming international shipments




Monitoring incoming stock, delivery schedules and project timelines
Working closely with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager and wider DUNLIN team to ensure projects are delivered on time
Experience working with lighting, electrical products or electrical wiring would be highly regarded.

Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Confidence using computers (Shopify, excel & freight websites) and learning new inventory systems
Previous experience in warehouse, stock or logistics operations (preferred but not essential)
A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to support the wider team
The ability to safely lift and move furniture, lighting and cartons
Confidence working safely on ladders
A current forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one if necessary
A current driver's licence (preferred)
