The Opportunity Our client is a leading Australian steel manufacturer supplying building products to commercial and residential projects nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Loaderto join their Brisbane team. This hands-on role involves loading and unloading steel products including roofing, walling, beams, and other oversized materials within a fast-paced yard environment. Ideal for a confident forklift operator experienced handling long-length or non-standard loads safely and efficiently.



Key Responsibilities

n

n
Operate forklifts to safely move and load steel building products and oversized materials
n
Load and unload trucks with non-standard freight including roofing, walling, steel, piping, and long-length products
n
Safely secure and strap loads for transport
n
Work closely with dispatch and production teams to ensure timely deliveries
n
Perform general yard duties and maintain a clean, organised workspace
n
Follow all workplace safety procedures and load restraint requirements
n
Provide occasional customer interaction and in office support
n

n

Essential Requirements

n

n
Current LF Forklift Licence
n
Previous experience loading steel, timber, piping, or oversized products
n
Experience operating forklifts in manufacturing, transport, yard, or warehouse environments
n
Understanding of load restraint and safe loading practices
n
Ability to work either 03:40am - 12:00pmor 09:40pm - 6:00am
n
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
n
Reliable transport and strong work ethic
