The organisation
n
St John Ambulance PNG is seeking experienced and adaptable Advanced Paramedics to join their team.
n
This unique role supports Australian personnel deployed to PNG while contributing to the development of local ambulance services. You will deliver advanced pre-hospital care in remote and resource-limited environments while working alongside local ambulance officers and clinicians.
n
Paramedics operate in a 24/7 on‐call environment and may be deployed to locations such as Lae, Kokopo, Mt Hagen, or Port Moresby. This position offers a rare opportunity to combine clinical practice, international development, mentoring, and operational paramedicine while making a meaningful contribution to emergency healthcare in the region.

Clinically confident and capable of working independently

Essential Requirements
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Paramedic
n
Minimum three years' post‐graduate experience as a Qualified Paramedic with a CAA‐registered service within the last 5 years
n
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in complex environments
n
Willingness to commit to a minimum deployment until April **** with potential to extend
n
