We're seeking experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Engineers to join a major Federal Government transformation program, supporting the implementation and migration of Microsoft 365 services into a new tenant setting.

This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale cloud modernisation initiative, delivering secure, scalable and contemporary workplace capabilities across a complex enterprise environment. You'll work closely with architects, technical specialists and business stakeholders to plan and execute Microsoft 365 migration activities while ensuring a seamless transition for end users.

We can offer this role either as a 12 month contract or permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
n
Deliver technical implementation, administration and migration activities across a new Microsoft 365 tenant.
n
Configure, administer and support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
n
Execute user identity, SharePoint Online and OneDrive migration activities.
n




Configure and maintain identity and access management controls in line with security and governance requirements.
n
Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting and remediation to ensure successful migration outcomes.
n
Produce technical documentation, operational support artefacts and service transition documentation.
n
Collaborate with architects, project teams, vendors and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

About You
n
You'll be an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer with strong hands‐on implementation and migration experience within enterprise environments. You will have:
n
Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 implementation and migration projects.
n
Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive and Entra ID.
n
Experience with tenant‐to‐tenant migration activities and Microsoft 365 administration.
n
Knowledge of identity and access management principles and Microsoft security best practices.
n
Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills across Microsoft 365 technologies.
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
n
Previous Australian Federal Government experience will be highly regarded.
n
Australian Citizenship and a current NV1 clearance is required to be considered for this role.
