About the Role
n
Macmahon Underground is growing and expanding its footprint across Australia's East Coast, creating exciting opportunities for experienced Jumbo Operators to join our team.
n




Responsibilities
n
n
Operate Sandvik jumbo drill rig in a safe and efficient manner
n
Read and understand development designs and operational memos to guide work activities
n
Carry out underground development activities, including boring and installation of ground support
n
Installation various types of ground support, including split sets, resin bolts and mesh
n
Contribute to all stages of the mining cycle, maintaining productivity and minimising downtime
n
Provide clear and effective communication
n
Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values
n
Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience operating the jumbo drill rigs
n
Solid safety focus and ability to speak up
n
A team mindset and reliable work ethic
n
Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
n
Dangerous Goods Security Card (highly desired)
n
First Aid Certificate (highly desired)
