Job Description

South32 is seeking a Mine Planning Engineer for the Cannington operation in northwest Queensland. The role focuses on driving strategic and operational mine planning to safely and efficiently execute the mine plan, with a robust emphasis on sustainable practices.

The position is permanent with an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville, or Cairns, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay Shires. Experience in underground hard rock planning and Deswik is valued.
