Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

The Role
n
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Quality Manager is responsible for leading the Quality function and ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards across Dana Australia.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Leading and maintaining the Quality Management System
n
Ensuring compliance with ISO**** and IATF ***** standards
n
Acting as the key point of contact for customer and supplier quality matters
n
Ensuring all Quality Assurance procedures and corporate guidelines are met
n




Reviewing customer complaints and leading corrective actions to reduce risk of recurrence
n
Providing quality leadership across production and new projects
n
n
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
n
Significant experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing or assembly setting – preferable automotive or heavy vehicle industry
n
Strong working knowledge of Quality Management System standards - preferably ISO**** and IATF *****
n
Experience and formal training in leading or undertaking internal and external audits
n
Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
A high level of commitment, accountability and responsibility
n
Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality outcomes
n
