We are partnering with a premium custom home builder to find an experienced Lead Sales Consultant to drive business across the Gippsland region.

If you are currently in current home sales but feeling restricted by volume builds and competing purely on bottom-dollar pricing, this is an excellent opportunity to step up. In this role, you will be selling high-value, fully custom-built homes where the focus is firmly on design, lifestyle, and quality.

Based out of our regional office/display network, you will take ownership of the end-to-end sales process. This means guiding clients through complex purchasing decisions, collaborating closely with drafting and estimating teams, and ultimately turning a blank piece of land into a custom reality.

What you will be doing:

Generating current business through your established networks with local real estate agents and land developers across Gippsland.
n
Managing the entire sales cycle for high-value custom home builds.
n
Selling on value and design rather than trying to match the cheapest price in the market.

Providing guidance and mentoring to junior sales consultants on the team.
n
Keeping CRM systems updated and managing an active pipeline of prospective buyers.
n

What you need to bring to the table:

A minimum of 5 years of proven success in residential construction sales.
n
A solid understanding of local market conditions in the Gippsland area.
n
Solid technical knowledge. You must understand planning permits, residential building regulations, and basic costing to have preliminary discussions with clients. (Ex-drafting specialists who have transitioned into sales are highly encouraged to apply).

A proactive approach to business development. We need a self-starter who doesn't rely solely on company-provided leads.
n
Flexibility to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) to maximize client availability and display home traffic.
n

Experience with energy efficiency requirements or a strong personal brand in the local property industry will put you at the top of the list.
