As we continue to expand, we are looking for compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our South West Rocks/Kempsey team.
n
About the Role
n
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide tailored support to participants in their homes and within the community, helping them build independence and improve their quality of life.
n
Due to participant preferences and support requirements, we are particularly seeking female support workers for this role.
n
Your Responsibilities
n
n
Provide SIL support with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
n
Assist participants to access the community, attend appointments, and engage in social activities
n
Support participants to achieve their individual goals in line with their NDIS plans
n




Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
n
Work collaboratively with families, stakeholders, and the wider WEmpower team
n
n
About You
n
You are caring, reliable, and committed to making a positive difference in people's lives. You are adaptable, respectful, and able to build strong relationships with participants.
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
n
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
Current First Aid & CPR CertificateStrong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Previous experience in disability support or similar role
n
Relevant qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or similar)
n
Experience supporting participants with complex needs, behaviours, or high physical support
n
n
