Heidelberg Materials Australia is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Mechanical Fitter - Fixed Plant to join our hardworking team at Red Hill Quarry. This hands-on role is key to keeping our fixed plant operations running safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance and long-term site improvement.

What the Role Involves:
n
n
Maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment including crushers, bearings conveyors, and screens - training provided on specific equipment as required
n
Strong emphasis on preventative maintenance and condition monitoring Work closely with contractors during shutdowns and major maintenance events
n
Perform daily inspections and assist in planning maintenance schedules
n
Accurately document maintenance activities and report issues as they arise
n
Contribute to ongoing site improvements through practical input and initiative
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
n
Experience in quarrying, mining, or similar heavy industry
n
Proven ability to identify faults and implement safe, effective solutions
n
A proactive mindset with a focus on safety and continuous improvement
n
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
n
n

Full-time, Perth based permanent role - no FIFO Approx. 10-hour days, Monday to Friday - flexibility with start/finish times, family friendly - let us know your situation Some weekend overtime available if wanted Rostered Days Off (RDOs)
