About the Role
n
Join the RMH Kidney Care Service as a Clinical Renal Physiologist and play an important role in delivering specialist care to patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, supporting their treatment, rehabilitation and ongoing wellbeing.
n
Working across The Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Metropolitan Satellite Dialysis Area units, you will deliver safe, evidence-based haemodialysis and other renal replacement therapies while supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
n
Key Accountabilities
n
n
Deliver safe, high-quality haemodialysis and renal replacement therapies in line with clinical standards.
n
Assess, monitor and respond to patients' clinical needs, including vascular access and medication management.
n
Provide person-centred care, education and support in partnership with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team.
n
Support the effective operation of the dialysis service through quality improvement and safe clinical practice.
n
For Grade 2 clinicians, contribute to education, research, staff development and service improvement initiatives.
n

About You
n
n
Bachelor of Science in a relevant field or equivalent
n
Demonstrated experience and/or post graduate qualifications as a clinical renal physiologist
n
NZASRDP membership
n
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to collaborative, interdisciplinary care.
n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
n
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
