As a Senior Business Analyst - Payments, you will play a critical role in shaping & delivering a new payments platform, working across business, technology & operations to drive meaningful change. Acting as the glue between stakeholders, product teams & delivery partners, you will lead complex analysis activities, facilitate strategic discussions & ensure business needs are translated into practical, scalable solutions.
n
This is a highly visible role within our Chief Product Office department requires strong payments expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills & the ability to navigate complex delivery environments while influencing outcomes at all levels of the organisation.
n
This is a fixed‐term contract, with possibility to convert to extend or convert to permanent.
n
Top Role Accountabilities & Responsibilities
n
n
Partner with Product Owners/Leads to shape initiatives, define scope, & align outcomes to product strategy & business objectives
n
Lead complex business analysis activities across multiple initiatives, ensuring transparent problem definition, value, & success measures
n
Engage stakeholders to identify, analyse, & validate business needs strategic requirements
n




Facilitate workshops & collaboration across business & technology teams to drive alignment & decision‐making
n
Conduct discovery & impact assessments, including process, regulatory, customer, & market analysis
n
Analyze & document current & future state processes, customer journeys, requirements, user stories, & business impacts
n
Support the design & evaluation of solutions that balance customer, business, & technical needs
n
Contribute to target operating model design, solution delivery, testing, & business acceptance activities
n
Support change implementation through process documentation, training, & adoption activities
n
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, & requirements traceability throughout the initiative lifecycle
n
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
Proven experience as a business focussed Senior Business Analyst in banking or financial services
n
Proven experience working on payments projects
n
Working knowledge of Temenos highly regarded
n
Demonstrated ability to lead analysis workstreams & operate independently in complex delivery environments
n
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
n
An ability to translate customer insights into clear business opportunities & structured requirements
n
Strong analytical, facilitation, & storytelling capability
n
Experience working in agile environments
n
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical & non-technical audiences
n
A confident, collaborative mindset,



with the ability to challenge constructively & drive better outcomes
n

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst within banking or financial services, with a strong focus on delivering business outcomes
n
Proven success working on payments‐related initiatives, with a solid understanding of the payments landscape
n
Experience with Temenos will be highly regarded
n
A demonstrated ability to lead analysis workstreams, navigate ambiguity, & operate autonomously within complex delivery environments
n
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the confidence & credibility to influence & engage senior leaders
n
The ability to translate customer insights, business needs, & strategic objectives into clear requirements & actionable opportunities
n
Strong analytical thinking, facilitation, & storytelling capabilities, enabling you to bring stakeholders on the journey
n
Experience working in Agile delivery environments, collaborating effectively across cross‐functional teams
n
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for both technical & non-technical audiences
n
A collaborative & proactive mindset, with the confidence to challenge constructively, drive meaningful conversations, & deliver better business outcomes
