WE'RE HIRING: Mental Health Support Workers - Wollongong, NSW
About the Role
This is a casual position with flexible shifts. You'll be working in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings, providing tailored support to participants with diverse needs.
What We're Looking For
Complex and aggressive behaviours (highly desirable)
Brain injury and schizophrenia support (highly desirable)
Medication administration
Accurate documentation (shift notes, incident reports)
Time management and adaptability across varied environments
Fluent English - both verbal and written (non-negotiable)
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting participants in daily living activities
Promoting independence and community engagement
Delivering care aligned with individual support plans
Ensuring a safe, respectful, and empowering setting




Collaborating with staff and team leaders to deliver exceptional care
Must be able to commit to PM and Sleepover shifts on a rotating roster .

NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Police Check
NDIS Orientation Modules
First Aid & CPR Certificate
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
Infection Control Training Certificate
Current Driver's License & reliable vehicle
