Clinical Governance & Quality Business Partner

We're seeking an experienced Clinical Governance & Quality Business Partner to join our Clinical Governance & Quality team and play a key role in strengthening quality, safety and compliance across the organisation.
n
This position can be full-time or 0.8 FTE & is based at our Abbotsford head office.
n
About the role
n
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Governance & Quality, you will provide specialist clinical governance leadership to support the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred services.
n
This role will partner closely with leaders and teams across the business to drive continuous improvement, support regulatory compliance, manage clinical risks and contribute to a strong culture of quality and accountability.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Lead the development, implementation and ongoing enhancement of Care Connect's clinical governance framework and quality systems.
n
Support organisational compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
n
Monitor, analyse and investigate incidents, complaints, consumer feedback and audits to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen care quality, safety and client outcomes.
n
Interpret quality and performance data to support informed decision-making and risk management.
n
Prepare reports and insights for committees and stakeholders on quality, compliance, incidents and risks.
n
Coordinate responses to external complaints and support privacy-related activities.
n
Build capability across leaders and teams through education, guidance and support.

About you
n
You'll be a collaborative and values-driven clinical professional with a passion for quality, safety and continuous improvement.
n
To be successful you will have:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional.
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in clinical governance, quality, compliance or risk management.
n
Experience developing and implementing quality systems, compliance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Strong understanding of incident management, complaints handling and quality assurance processes.
n
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.
n
Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
n
Experience within home care,
community care or aged care will be highly regarded.
n
Postgraduate qualifications in health services, healthcare management or a related field will be advantageous.
