About the Role

BMD is continuing its strong growth trajectory with a robust pipeline of projects across Australia. We are seeking a Site Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background, specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure projects, to join our Constructions business unit for works in the Central Coast Region of NSW.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure works onsite
n
Coordinate mechanical installation activities, including plant and equipment
n
Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and standards
n
Monitor site progress, productivity, and quality outcomes
n
Assist with short-term planning, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
n




Maintain a strong focus on safety, environmental, and quality compliance
n
Contribute to resolving technical issues and driving efficient project outcomes
n

Skills and Experience
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
n
Exposure to water and wastewater infrastructure projects (preferred)
n
Typically 2-4 years' onsite experience in construction or infrastructure delivery
n
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to work collaboratively within a site-based team environment
n
Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality outcomes
n
Eagerness to learn and develop within a high-performing project team
n
