(Pro Rata) RN/M2A| Full-Time Position Until October **** Step Into Leadership | Associate Nurse Unit Manager, Outpatient Services Flinders Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to take on an Associate Nurse Unit Manager role within Outpatient Support Services on a full time contract through to October ****. You'll provide hands‐on clinical leadership across a busy outpatient environment, supporting your team to deliver safe, high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

About the role
n
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in the day‐to‐day clinical and operational leadership of Outpatient Support Services, acting as a key resource for staff, patients, and the broader multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
n
n
Assists the OSS Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent to provide timely, useful and relevant information to clinicians and managers, to assist quality clinical and management decisions and quality outcomes
n
Assist with data extraction and analysis to assist with continuous quality improvement activities
n
Assists and supports the OSS Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent in management, clinical and education activities
n
Plan and coordinate services including those from other disciplines
n
Participate in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experience, and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experience
n
Assist the OSS Nurse Unit Manager and the OSS Nurse Manager to maintain a learning culture by being a resource person, encouraging reflection and professional development, and assisting others to maintain portfolios/records of learning

About you
n
n
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
n
Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
n
Demonstrated competence in clinical practice in accordance with relevant standards
n
Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses
n
n
Salary and benefits

Salary $107,487 - $114,917 p.a. (Pro Rata)
n

Eligibility and other requirements

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance as indicated on the Role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
