Manager on Duty position - Indoor Electric Go Kart Venue (Melbourne)
n
We are seeking motivated and ambitious individuals to join the management team for a brand new indoor electric go karting venue launching in Docklands, Melbourne.
n
This is a Melbourne-based role for a new venue opening. To ensure all team members are fully trained in our systems, safety standards and operations, successful applicants will complete a structured training period at our established venue in Sydney prior to the Melbourne launch.
n
This role is ideal for people looking to build a long-term career in venue operations and develop into leadership responsibilities over time.
n
You will start in a hands-on operational role across pit, track and guest services, with exposure to leadership responsibilities based on performance and capability. Progression into supervisory or management-level opportunities is possible for the right candidates but is not guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support daily venue operations and ensure a smooth guest experience
n
Prepare, reset and maintain karts between races
n
Assist with race flow and safe track operations
n
Deliver high-quality customer service and assist guests throughout their visit
n
Support bookings, registrations and group/event sessions
n
Assist with opening and closing procedures
n
Maintain safety, cleanliness and presentation standards at all times
n
Report operational, safety or maintenance issues promptly
n




Support leadership team with general shift execution

Training & Location
n
n
This is a Melbourne-based position for a new venue opening in Docklands
n
Initial training will take place in Sydney at our existing operational venue
n
Training duration is approximately 2–3 months (subject to operational needs and individual progression)
n
Training will cover all operational systems, safety procedures and venue standards before transition to Melbourne
n
Interstate applicants may be required to travel to Sydney for training.
n
Please note that the company will not cover any travel arrangements and relocation costs.

Strong communication and customer service skills
n
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
n
Reliable, adaptable and willing to learn
n
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
Interest in leadership and venue operations
n
Adaptable availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays
n
Experience in hospitality, entertainment, customer service, sport, recreation or retail is beneficial but not essential
