Job Description

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic at GCE Automotive, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles. Working in our contemporary, well-equipped workshop, you'll deliver quality workmanship while being supported by solid systems and a collaborative team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
n
General servicing and maintenance
n
Brake, steering and suspension repairs
n
Timing belt and major mechanical repairs
n
Using scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
n
Completing vehicle inspections and reporting recommended repairs
n
Performing road tests where required
n
Maintaining accurate job records and following workshop procedures
n
Working safely and contributing to a clean, organised workshop
n
