Our café named BOOSA Cafe is seeking 2-3 experienced baristas / Cook/ Chef and customer-focused all-rounders to join the team to gear up for busy period.

Key Responsibilities
n

Food Preparation: Prepare and cook authentic Middle Eastern and Levantine dishes using fresh, quality ingredients.
n
Kitchen Standards: Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen control procedures.
n
Service Efficiency: Work calmly and efficiently under high pressure during busy service hours.
n
Team Support: Assist with stock rotation, inventory control, and keeping the kitchen clean and organised.
n
n
Requirements & Skills
n
n
Experience: Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience, with specific background in Middle Eastern, Lebanese, or Mediterranean cuisine or English Cafe/Restaurant.
n
Knowledge: Deep understanding of spice profiles, grilling, and traditional preparation methods.
n
Qualifications: Valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate or relevant culinary qualifications.

Work Visa: Must have valid work visa to work in Australia.

At least 1 year of barista experience (including a minimum of 6 months in Australia) . Familiar to to opening and closing especially deep clean for grinders and machines
n
Confidence in dialling in, delivering consistent service, and maintaining a clean, organised bar
n
Strong communication skills — clear and professional English is essential
n
A genuine customer-focused attitude, ability to stay calm under pressure, and a team-player mindset
n
Dependable, proactive, and take pride in your work

All rounders should be:
n
Experienced with taking orders and POS operation
n
Comfortable chatting with customers and creating a friendly atmosphere
n
Passionate about customer service
n
Able to remember regulars' names and favourite orders

Flexible and willing to work at our busy South Yarra location
n
Reliable, energetic and able to work in a fast-paced setting
n
n
Hospitality experience preferred.
