About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, organised and customer-focused People & Culture Administrator to join our team at the Blue Illusion Retail Support Centre in St Kilda.
This part-time, on-site role (28 hours per week) offers flexibility around days worked and reports directly to the Head of People & Culture. As a key member of the P&C; team, you will provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, assisting with HR and payroll processes while delivering a positive and seamless experience for employees and stakeholders. You will take pride in providing responsive, high-quality service, building strong relationships and ensuring people feel supported at every stage of their journey with Blue Illusion.
Proposed remuneration of: $34 - $37per hour (full time equivalent salary range of $65,000 – $70,000)
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day administration, employee documentation including onboarding and contract generation
Monitoring of the shared payroll inbox
Collate and process employee variations, including employment changes, pay rate adjustments, job title updates and organisational changes
Respond to employee enquiries and elevate matters where required
Manage work anniversary, reward and recognition processes
Generate and distribute payroll reports
Maintain employee records, HR databases and systems
Liaise with our third-party payroll provider to resolve payroll-related queries




Assist with maintaining HR compliance including preparation of annual WGEA reporting
About You
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys supporting people and processes. You are eager to learn and are looking to develop your career within Human Resources.
You'll bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (preferred)
Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with the ability to build positive relationships and ensure a positive experience for employees and stakeholders
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a HR, Payroll or Administration role
Experience with HRIS system Employment Hero (highly regarded)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Robust attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Effective verbal and written communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience using HRIS and payroll systems will be highly regarded
