The Opportunity

A rare and high-impact opportunity for a Clinical Director of Orthopaedic Surgery to lead and shape a high-performing service within the Wide Bay.
n
This is a senior leadership role combining clinical excellence, strategic influence, and service development, ideal for an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon seeking to step into (or further develop) an executive-level position.
n
You will provide expert clinical and strategic leadership, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality orthopaedic and trauma services while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma Services across the region
n
Provide strategic direction in collaboration with executive leadership
n
Deliver high-quality clinical care aligned with best practice standards
n
Drive service development, innovation, and performance improvement
n
Support and mentor medical staff, trainees, and multidisciplinary teams
n
Contribute to teaching, training, and research activities (aligned with CanMEDS framework)
n
