Pay rate $44 per hour
FHR is currently seeking a reliable experienced
Early Childhood Educator Centre Chef
to join our client in Mitcham on a casual ongoing role.
About the Role
This position requires someone who is passionate about working with children and able to provide a secure, nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and prepare healthy, nutritious meals for children aged 6mths - 5yrs.
Plan and deliver cooking experiences with the children as part of the curriculum.
Update and plan menus quarterly (seasonal menu).
Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
Ensure Safe and Hygienic Handling and preparation of food and drinks.
Work as part of a team, to create a safe and caring environment for Children.
Requirements




Copy of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Clear Working with Children Check
Copy of Anaphylaxis and Auto immune device training (if separate from First Aid)
Police check (within 6 months)
National Safety & Child protection training evidence
Experience working in childcare or a similar role preferred
Must be reliable, punctual and flexible
Available Monday to Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm
Must be available for casual ongoing role
