Job Description

n
Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of dry goods, paper products, chemical supplies, and food and beverage specifications.
n
Ensures that all shipments are received in valuable, undamaged condition. Notates all non-conformities, discrepancies, damages, shortages, and miss picks to vendor invoices as well as purchase orders.
n
Cooperates with accounts payable team members in the verification of orders received.
n
Conducts the necessary research to effectively resolve receiving disputes.
n
Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
n
Electronically scans all purchase orders and vendor invoices.
n
Verifies all food and beverage deliveries upon arrival meet correct corporate specifications.
n
Ensures products meet all quality standards and food safety/HACCP issues are adhered to upon receipt.
n
Ensures all products are received and placed immediately into the freezer, refrigeration, or dry storage as needed.
n
Ensures products are stored and dated properly and rotated using the FIFO method.
n
Notates all food safety issues and forwards to Receiving Manager.
n




Inspects all incoming non-food shipments for product and quantity accuracy against packing slip and purchase order.
n
Logs accurate information onto distribution log and delivers items to their appropriate departments.
n
Assists marketing with unboxing and distributing promotional gifts for the guests.
n
Assists inventory control with an accurate count of all products stored in the bulk freezer.
n
Performs all other duties as assigned.
n

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

n

n
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more.
n
Must have attention to detail skills.
n
Previous forklift and/or pallet jack experience preferred.
n
Must be at least 18 years of age.
