Driller's Offsider / Driller's assistant – Gold Coast

We are seeking a motivated Driller's Offsider to join our growing team.

n

This is a permanent local position based on the Gold Coast. This is not a FIFO role. Work is generally Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays and overtime when required.

n

Essential Requirements

n

n
Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence
n
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
n
Able to pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing
n
Robust commitment to workplace safety
n
Mechanically minded with valuable problem-solving skills
n
Reliable with a strong work ethic
n
Willing to work away from home when required
n

Desirable

n

n
Dogging, crane or forklift tickets
n
White Card
n
Experience in drilling, civil construction, earthmoving or a similar industry
n

n

Duties

n

n
Assist the Driller with all drilling operations
n
Load, unload and drive company vehicles
n




Drive HR company trucks transporting drilling rigs, equipment and materials between project sites
n
Handle drill rods, casing and drilling equipment
n
Mix drilling fluids, cement and grout
n
Clean and maintain drilling rigs, vehicles and equipment
n
Assist with servicing and basic mechanical repairs
n
Follow company procedures and site safety requirements
n
