Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Platform Operator and Heavy Haulage qualified. We particularly are looking for those with experience in up to 13 Row Platforms.

Our Heavy Haulage / Specialised Team work on:

n

n
Project Work involving OSOM movements around Australia
n
Working both local and long distance based work (this means overnight / going away work on key long distance projects)
n
Working across a range of trailing units including Drake platforms up to 13 rows, float, extendables, flat tops and drop decks
n
Working under Permits which also can include directly with Pilots and Police escorts
n

n

The work is fairly autonomous but we keep in contact regularly to ensure we support your needs as the job progresses.

n

We are seeking qualified and skilled heavy vehicle operators that can demonstrate:

n

n
greater than 2yrs experience in the MC Class
n
Solid NHVR understanding and adherence to COR
n
Experience in multi-axle platforms (13 rows), dolly's, floats and extendable trailers
n
Valuable understanding of,



and compliance to Fatigue Management standards
n
Ability to assist in route scoping and TMP
n
Pilot and Police interaction experience
n

n

What You'll Need:

n

n
Valid MC licence (essential)
n
Willingness to undertake a Fitness to Drive medical and drug/alcohol screen
n
Solid understanding of load restraint for both general freight and oversize heavy equipment
n
Solid mechanical understanding of the operation and maintaining of platform trailers with the ability of carrying out roadside maintenance when required
n
