Draper's Civil Contracting is seeking an experienced Tilt Tray Driver to join our team in Breakwater, Victoria. This is a full time position that will involve operating a tilt tray truck to transport equipment and materials to and from various construction sites within the Geelong region.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Safely operate a tilt tray truck to load, transport and unload equipment, machinery and materials
n
Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the tilt tray truck from our yard in Breakwater
n
Ensure all loads are securely fastened and comply with relevant safety regulations
n
Maintain accurate records of jobs completed and hours worked
n
Communicate effectively with the wider construction team to coordinate deliveries
n
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
A valid Heavy Vehicle licence with the appropriate endorsements to operate a tilt tray truck
n
Advantage to have at least 2 years' experience working as a Tilt Tray Driver in the construction industry
n
Training will be provided to suitable candidates who demonstrate potential and commitment to learn tilt tray operations
n
Knowledge of load restraint and safe towing practices
n
Excellent driving skills and attention to detail
n
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
n
Positive communication and teamwork skills
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
