Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a full-time experienced IT Network Support Administrator to manage and support our clients' network environment and day-to-day IT infrastructure. This role will play a key part in keeping systems running smoothly, resolving technical issues, and supporting the ongoing stability and security of the business' network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:
n
Maintain and support the organisation's network workplace, including servers, routers, switches and associated systems
n
Monitor system performance and respond to network or connectivity issues in a timely manner
n
Troubleshoot faults and outages, identifying root causes and implementing practical solutions
n
Manage user access, permissions and system configurations in line with internal policies
n
Assist with system updates, upgrades and routine maintenance to ensure network security and reliability
n
Keep accurate records of network configurations, assets and changes
n
Work with external IT providers or vendors where required to support system improvements or issue resolution
n
Provide support to internal users on network-related issues and assist with general IT queries
n
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
n




A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; or
n
At least 5 years' practical experience and/or relevant industry certifications demonstrating capability in network administration and support
n
Proven experience in network administration, IT support, or a similar infrastructure-focused role
n
Strong understanding of network environments, including configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
n
Experience supporting users and resolving system or connectivity issues
n
Sound understanding of system security, access control and data protection practices
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
n
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing tasks
n
Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
n
Relevant certifications (e.g. Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft or similar)
n
Exposure to cloud-based or hybrid environments
n
Experience working in a small-to-medium business IT environment or with external IT providers
n
Salary:$90,000 - $110,000 per annum (excluding superannuation)
