Job Description
Moranbah Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join its Mental Health service for an 8-week contract from August ****. Based at Moranbah Community Health Centre or Mackay with outreach to the Hinterland region, this Grade 6 position offers the prospect to work across child and youth mental health, adult mental health, acute care, and alcohol and other drugs services. Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on up to 80 hours per fortnight, the successful candidate will earn between AUD$***** and AUD$***** per hour, with overtime rates applying beyond 80 hours per fortnight.

Work across a diverse mental health service including child and youth, adult, acute care, and AOD teams
n
AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour, with overtime rates and a structured Monday to Friday roster
n
8-week contract with flexibility to base yourself in Moranbah or Mackay with regional outreach
n

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Demonstrated experience in mental health case management
n
Competence in completing electrocardiograms (ECGs)
n
Ability to work effectively across multiple mental health service streams
n
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
n
Flexibility to work in a community health setting with potential outreach requirements
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
Experience with mental health case management systems such as CIMHA or ieMR
n
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act **** and experience working with children, adolescents, or alcohol and other drugs services
n
