About the Role
n
A youth-focused sub-acute residential mental health service is seeking a Clinician to join its multidisciplinary team supporting young people aged ***** years. The service provides short-term, recovery-oriented care for individuals stepping down from inpatient settings or stepping up from community-based supports to prevent acute deterioration.
n
The service operates in a therapeutic, home-like environment focused on strengths-based recovery. Young people are supported to build coping skills, reconnect with their goals, and maintain strong community and family connections.
n
As a Clinician, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-informed mental health care aligned with individual recovery goals. You will work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate support.

Roster & Shift Details

Rotating roster across 7 days (no night shifts)
n
7:30am – 4:00pm
n
1:00pm – 9:30pm
n

Key Responsibilities
n

Deliver recovery-oriented mental health treatment and care
n
Support young people in achieving individual recovery goals
n
Engage families, carers, and key supports in care planning
n
Provide developmentally appropriate, evidence-based interventions
n
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards
n

Requirements
n
n
Relevant qualification in Nursing, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy
n
Current registration with AHPRA (where applicable)
n
Experience in mental health or youth services
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Experience in youth mental health or residential care settings
n
Understanding of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practice
n
Ability to work in a network-centred care model
