The role and duties
This is a permanent full-time role suited to either:
a law graduate currently undertaking Practical Legal Training through the College of Law; or
a final-year law student who has the capacity to work full time while completing their remaining subjects.
The role will involve substantive legal work, primarily in relation to Australian financial services licensing and financial services regulation.
preparing and assisting with Australian financial services licence applications and variations
undertaking legal and regulatory research
preparing licensing and compliance documentation
assisting with ASIC correspondence and regulatory submissions
drafting client correspondence and legal documents
reviewing legislation, regulatory guidance and client materials
assisting lawyers with financial services and funds management matters more broadly
The role will suit someone who is proactive, reliable, commercially minded and interested in developing a career in financial services law.
Subject to performance, the position offers a pathway to a graduate lawyer role and, following admission, progression within the firm.
Additional qualifications or studies in commerce, accounting or finance will be highly regarded given the nature of the work we do.

Full-time equivalent remuneration of
$70,000–$76,000 inclusive of superannuation,
depending on qualifications and experience.
