About the Role
We are looking for a
hands-on Assistant Accountant
to support fund accounting, portfolio reporting, and day-to-day finance operations.
Reporting to the Finance lead, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate fund reporting and smooth operational processes, while gaining exposure to portfolio management and financial markets.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting & Operations
Assist with
daily / weekly / monthly NAV calculations
Perform
trade and cash reconciliations
Support
management & performance fee calculations
Maintain
general ledger, journals, and bank reconciliations
Assist in preparing
monthly reports and working papers
Liaise with
administrators, auditors, and service providers
Corporate / Standard Accounting
Assist with




month-end close processes
Prepare and post
journals, accruals, and prepayments
Perform
bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Support preparation of
financial statements and management reports
Assist with
accounts payable / receivable (as required)
Support
audit and compliance processes
Requirements
2–4 years accounting experience (financial services preferred)
Strong understanding of
reconciliations and accounting basics
Experience with Xero / MYOB (or similar)
CA/CPA (in progress preferred)
