Ilonka Foods is an established Western Australian food manufacturer supplying premium sous-vide meats, meals and food solutions across, hospitality, foodservice, retail, wholesale, healthcare and aged care.
n
We are looking for a highly organised, commercially minded Senior Sales & Operations Coordinator to become a key link between our customers, sales activity, logistics, administration and staff.
n
This role would suit either:
n
An experienced operator – someone with solid food industry, wholesale, logistics and manufacturing experience who already understands the industry and brings practical customer or industry relationships.
n
Or an ambitious step-up candidate – someone with strong foundations who is ready to learn quickly, take on more responsibility and grow into a broader operations role.
n
The salary range is $75,000–$100,000 + super, depending on experience, capability and industry network.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Managing sales enquiries, quotes and customer follow-up
n
Maintaining an active sales pipeline
n
Supporting new-business development
n
Coordinating deliveries and drivers
n
Managing day-to-day customer service issues
n
Overseeing sales and customer administration
n
Keeping pricing and product information current
n
Helping staff with day-to-day operational questions
n
Following up outstanding actions
n
Present practical sales and operations reports
n
Identify more efficient ways of doing things
n
Maintains strong visibility across day-to-day operations
n
n
We're Looking for Someone Who
n
n
Is exceptionally organised
n
Follows things through without being chased
n
Is confident speaking with customers
n
Is highly tech-savvy, confident learning and improving business and administration systems
n
Must be highly proficient across Microsoft 365,



particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams.
n
Is commercially aware and comfortable with numbers
n
Can coordinate people without creating unnecessary drama
n
Notices when something has been missed
n
Is happy to pick up the phone and solve a problem
n
Learns quickly and takes feedback well
n
Wants responsibility and room to grow
n
n
Experience in food manufacturing, meat, foodservice, wholesale, distribution or logistics would be highly regarded. A strong network within the WA food or foodservice industry would also be valuable.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional administration role.

You will work closely with the CEO and senior team and become a key person in the day-to-day flow of the business, someone who understands what is happening across customers, sales, logistics, systems and staff, and helps keep everything moving in the right direction.
