Job Description
Community Occupational Therapist & Physiotherapist: Aged Care

McArthur is partnering with leading not-for-profit providers to recruit experienced Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists for permanent positions. Based in Bendigo, this role suits clinicians passionate about making a meaningful difference in community and hospital aged care settings.
n
You will work autonomously with older clients in their own homes, delivering secure, high-quality, person-centred care that supports independence and wellbeing.
n
The Role
n
Deliver goal-directed, reablement-focused care to clients referred through My Aged Care
n
Conduct home-based clinical assessments
n
Attend a community centre to work with and supervise allied health staff
n
Develop, review and implement care plans
n
Assess for home modifications and assistive equipment
n
Collaborate with clients, families, Team Leaders, Allied Health Assistants and PCAs
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
n
About You
n
Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
n
AHPRA registration
n
Demonstrated experience working with older adults, including dementia care
n
Solid communication and organisational skills
n
Ability to manage an independent caseload
n
Availability for full-time hours (Monday to Friday)
n
Knowledge of STRC, Post Acute Care and Transitional Care
n
Understanding of CHSP and NDIS funding and referrals
n
