An established civil contractor is looking for experienced Engineering Surveyors and Senior Surveyors to take charge of surveying across a growing portfolio of projects in the Rockhampton region.
Description
This is a key position within the regional operation, responsible for planning and coordinating surveying activities throughout construction.
You'll have the opportunity to work across varied projects while being trusted to manage the surveying function on the ground.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage the surveying requirements across a range of local civil projects
Complete site measurements, calculations and quality checks
Manage survey data and maintain accurate project records
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and project managers throughout project delivery
Plan upcoming survey requirements around construction programs
Operate modern survey equipment and software
Contribute to the delivery of new projects as the regional pipeline grows
Profile
Proven surveying experience across civil construction
Strong capability across set-out, measurements, calculations and survey data
Experience with Trimble, GPS, AutoCAD and 12D
Able to work effectively with engineers, supervisors and project teams
Robust technical judgement and a practical approach to problem solving
