We are seeking an experienced Locum Mental Health Clinician to join a Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in the stunning Northern Rivers, NSW.
n
This is an excellent chance for a qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with CAMHS experience to support children, adolescents, and their families within a multidisciplinary team.

Work in the beautiful Northern Rivers region (approximately a 6-hour drive or under a 1-hour flight from Sydney)

About the Role
n
You will be working within a Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), providing evidence-based mental health care to children and young people aged 0–18 years,
with a primary focus on adolescents aged 12–18 years who are experiencing, or are at risk of developing, responsible mental illness.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Deliver evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and their families or carers.
n
Support young people with complex mental health needs, including those who may be difficult to engage.
n
Facilitate referrals and coordinate care with appropriate community and specialist services.
n
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, person-centred mental health care.
n
Contribute to the continued development and expansion of community mental health services for children and adolescents.

About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Qualification as a Social Worker or Occupational Therapist
n
Previous CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) experience
n
Current driver's licence (essential)
n
Solid communication and teamwork skills
n
Ability to commence ASAP
