Job Description

Our client is a leading radiopharmaceutical manufacturer supporting nuclear medicine services across Australia. They are seeking a pharmacist to join their operations team and play a key role in the preparation, compounding, dispensing and distribution of radiopharmaceutical products.

This position will suit an AHPRA-registered Pharmacist who enjoys working in a highly regulated setting and is passionate about quality, patient safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include:

n

Prepare, compound, dispense and distribute radiopharmaceutical products

n

Perform generator elutions and quality control testing

n

Radiolabel reagent kits with Tc-99m and other radionuclides as required

n

Ensure compliance with GMP, radiation safety requirements and company procedures

n

Maintain accurate production, dispensing and quality records

n

Perform or oversee radiopharmaceutical quality control testing

n

Support environmental monitoring and sterile compounding activities

n

Manage inventory of radiopharmaceutical products and consumables

n

Investigate and respond to customer complaints and quality issues

n

Assist with audits,



regulatory compliance activities and documentation reviews

n

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmacy

n

Skills/Experience

n

Degree qualification in Pharmacy or equivalent

n

Current AHPRA Pharmacist registration with no restrictions

n

Role involves rotating night shift

n

Experience within radiopharmacy, nuclear medicine or sterile compounding environments is highly regarded

n

Knowledge of GMP, quality systems, aseptic technique and sterile manufacturing practices

n

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

n

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

n

Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment

n
