A full-time Permanent role for a renowned non-profit organisation helping the growing local Aboriginal community in community service and healthcare, seeking a Financial Accountant, Senior Accountant or a Bookkeeper, to manage the organisations finances and liaise with company stakeholders.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance accountant role
n
$80,000 - $85,000 per annum
n
South Eastern Melbourne, VIC
n

A normal day includes

n

n
Financial reporting and analysis.
n
Reviewing and approving financial transactions.
n
Budgeting and forecasting.
n
Supervising and training junior accountants.
n
Ensuring tax compliance and handling tax-related tasks.
n
Offering financial advice and insights to management.
n
Identifying and implementing process improvements.
n
Participating in meetings with other departments and stakeholders.
n

You will need

Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial accountant role
n
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
n
Robust analytical skills and attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a team player mentality
n
Robust Excel knowledge and practical application
n
A solid desire to learn, develop and progress within this opportunity
