Competitive salary in line with Council Band 3, $***** per hour plus 12% superannuation
Monthly rostered day off available and rotating roster to gain experience across the service's operating hours
The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certificate III educator to join our team at Moonee Valley's largest long day care and integrated kindergarten service in Keilor East.
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a large and collaborative early years team committed to providing high-quality education and care for children from infancy through to kindergarten.
Working in a purpose-built environment, you will contribute to nurturing children's learning, development and wellbeing through engaging, play-based experiences and meaningful connections with families.
Working collaboratively within your team, your responsibilities will include:
Working in accordance with the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworks




Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development through warm, responsive and intentional interactions
Assisting with documenting children's learning and contributing to planning and reflective practice
Supporting the delivery of engaging, inclusive and play-based learning programs
Contributing to a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment that promotes children's sense of belonging
About You
Certificate III in Children's Services (or equivalent) recognised by the Department of Education
Strong understanding of the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworks
Ability to build and maintain strong skilled relationships with children, families and colleagues
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and effectively manage daily responsibilities
Current Working with Children Check, First Aid Level 2, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management qualifications
Protecting Children and National Child Safety Training (modules 1 and 2)
