Marama Wholesale Meats are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Butchers to join their team in Dandenong South VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
n
n
Prepare meat for wholesale and retail sale using a wide variety of processes
n
Removing bones, trimming fat and cutting, mincing and grinding meat to shape and size as ordered
n
Prepare crumbed cuts of meat, and marinating, seasoning and curing special cuts
n
Select and prepare meat to produce smallgoods
n
Operate machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderise meat
n
Make seasonings and pickles by mixing spices, salt and other ingredients




n
Operate sausage filling machines, smoking chambers, and cooking kettles and vats
n
n
Skills and Abilities:
n
n
Must have 3 years' experience as a Butcher
n
Certificate III in Meat Processing or related Qualification
n
OH&S; awareness
n
Food Handling and RSA certificates required
n
n
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 21st July **** and closes on 21st August ****
