Job Description
Finance Business Partner - Corporate Services and Living Well
n
As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with operational leaders to deliver financial insights, performance analysis and strategic advice that supports informed decision-making.
n
You will play a key role in ensuring strong financial management across both corporate and service delivery functions, contributing to business sustainability, innovation and growth.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Partner with leaders to provide financial advice and insights that support informed decision-making.
n
Develop financial models, scenario analysis and cost-benefit assessments to evaluate strategic opportunities.
n
Turn complex financial and operational data into clear, practical recommendations.
n
Support business planning, performance reviews and investment decisions with trusted financial guidance.
n
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring forecasts are accurate, evidence-based and aligned with organisational goals.
n
Prepare monthly performance reports, including KPI tracking, variance analysis and key business insights.
n
Assist with business cases for new programs, service expansions and tender opportunities.
n
Improve financial systems, reporting and data quality while supporting compliance, audits and governance requirements.

What We're Looking For
n
n
A degree in Accounting or Finance, with CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent).
n
Proven experience in FP&A;, management accounting or business partnering roles.
n
Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
n
The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
n
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
n
Experience using ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, TechOne or similar).
n
Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
n
n
A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!
n
n
Experience in not-for-profit, healthcare, aged care or government-funded environments.
n
Exposure to business case development or transformation initiatives.
n
Experience in multi-portfolio or complex organisations.
n
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
n
Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
n
Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel for work
n
