WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor – Natural Environment Maintenance for our client based in Drouin. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with a background in parks, gardens, open space or natural reserve maintenance to supervise field crews and ensure the delivery of high-quality maintenance across public open spaces and natural environments.

What You Will Be Doing
n
n
Lead and supervise crews undertaking parks, gardens, open space and natural reserve maintenance
n
Coordinate daily work schedules, allocate resources and monitor productivity
n
Ensure maintenance activities are completed to a high standard and within required timeframes
n
Oversee mowing, vegetation management, pruning, weed control and general grounds maintenance
n
Conduct site inspections and identify maintenance priorities
n
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with OH&S; policies and environmental standards
n
Mentor, support and develop team members
n
Complete daily reporting, documentation and administrative tasks
n
Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors and members of the public where required
n

What Will You Need?
n
n
Previous supervisory or team leader experience within parks and gardens, landscaping, horticulture, civil maintenance or natural setting maintenance
n
Solid knowledge of grounds maintenance practices and vegetation management
n
Experience coordinating teams and managing daily work programs
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills
n
Current driver's licence
n
White Card
n
Certificate III in Horticulture (highly desirable)
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
n
