perform trade surveillance activities across Investment Bank (IB) & Global Wealth Management (GWM) divisions.

analyse exceptions and instances of potentially suspicious activities flagged by our systems.
n
engage with business stakeholders on escalations and other matters.
n
drive continuous process improvements and contribute to strategic department projects and automation/optimisation initiatives.
n
document and communicate review findings.
n
successfully collaborate in an integrated APAC team with peers in Australia and throughout the APAC region.
n
develop and maintain relationships with senior management.

Qualifications
n
n
Experience in trade/market surveillance, trade operations, advisory compliance, or DTR,
within the financial industry or at a regulator.
n
Knowledge of financial markets, products and trade lifecycle.
n
A curiosity and ability to 'dig deep' in order to identify suspicious trading patterns, investigate and draw meaningful conclusions.
n
Excellent organisational, time management, writing, and problem solving skills.
n
Willingness to keep up with industry, regulatory developments and learn recent concepts and methods.
n
Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.
