Operations Officer
within our
Rivtow Marine Port Hedland
team.
We are looking for the best of the best.
Residential in Port Hedland, WA (not FIFO)
Permanent Full Time Role
Attractive salary and benefits (for eligible candidates)
This role will see you:
Prepare agenda, minutes and attend scheduled meetings as required
Develop and prepare operational reports including operational statistics for the Operational Superintendent
Communication with Client Marine operations team, vessel crews and other port user stakeholders for day-to-day operations.
There may be an "on call" requirement
Work with the client Rivtow Fleet and the Shoreside Team to facilitate safe, reliable daily operation of vessels and associated infrastructure (tugs, barge, crew transfer vessels)
Support the Operations Superintendent and Operations Supervisor in the planning and implementation, of the crew training programs, as per training strategy
Log all incidents, injuries, near misses and assist in conducting investigations, as required
Attend vessel inspections, as required
You will need:
Experience in the Marine industry, towage,



and port operations, whilst not essential, will set you apart
Demonstrated flexibility and problem solving ability
Proven ability to deliver results within agreed time frames
Hold an MSIC or be able to obtain an MSIC
Robust computer capability and excellent numeric skills
Must be an exceptional team player.
