An exciting opportunity exists for an Accountant to join a well-established accounting firm located in Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing financial statements for small and medium-sized businesses across all entity types
Preparing and lodging income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs (where applicable)
Reconciling Xero files and performing general bookkeeping duties
Preparing and lodging quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS)
Assisting clients with day-to-day accounting and taxation queries
Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)




Maintaining accurate client records and assisting with general practice administration as required
About You
Minimum 1 years' experience in Business Services or Tax Accounting
This is a client-facing role, so we're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicating with clients, and providing exceptional service - not just preparing accounts behind the scenes
Previous experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns across multiple entity types
Experience using Xero Practice Manager and Xero Ledger
Experience preparing or assisting with Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) using BGL will be highly regarded
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional approach
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
The ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities
A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
The Opportunity
Salary package of $75,******,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience
Based primarily at the Modbury office, with 1-2 days per week worked from the Prospect office
