About the role
Perform MRI and CT imaging with a high level of autonomy, applying sound clinical judgement and technical expertise across complex imaging procedures while prioritising patient safety and comfort.
Deliver compassionate, high-quality care tailored to each patient's needs, while maintaining accurate documentation, confidentiality, infection control and safety standards.
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to quality improvement, radiation safety, WHS initiatives and the ongoing enhancement of imaging services.
Support student education and mentor junior staff while actively participating in CPD, departmental training, research and evidence-based practice.
Share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues,
contribute to a positive team culture and help deliver excellent patient outcomes across the department.
About you
Qualified & Licensed: Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent), current AHPRA registration, and a valid NSW EPA Radiation License.
Clinical Expertise: Significant experience in Medical Imaging, with strong knowledge and hands‐on skills in CT and MRI modalities.
Collaborative & Independent: Able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, inspiring and motivating colleagues while contributing to shared departmental goals.
Professional Excellence: Committed to best practice, with proven ability in complex problem‐solving, decision‐making, and applying quality improvement, risk management, and WH&S; principles.
Communication & Learning: High-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, strong computer literacy, and active engagement in continuing professional development.
