Your recent company An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced procurement professional to join a growing team undergoing significant organisational transformation and expansion into new regulatory functions.
This role will play a critical part in shaping the agency's procurement and contract management maturity at a time of change and growth.
Your new role
As the EL1 Procurement Capability & Contract Management Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement and contract management frameworks, policies, guidance materials, and best-practice processes that will support the organisation now and into the future.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide trusted advice on complex procurement and contract management issues while building capability across the organisation.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will have the prospect to influence strategy, improve governance, and drive sustainable change.
Reporting within a collaborative team of procurement professionals, you will also act as a senior escalation point for complex procurement and contract-related matters.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong experience in Commonwealth procurement and contract management.
Demonstrated ability to develop frameworks, policies, and capability uplift initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
A collaborative approach with a genuine interest in supporting and developing others.
