About the role

n

As a Registered Midwife, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high‐quality, evidence‐based care to women and newborns. You will work across a range of midwifery settings and actively contribute to positive patient experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering evidence‐based midwifery care across the maternity journey
n




Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
n
Providing a high standard of customer‐focused care to women and families
n
Ensuring patient, newborn and staff safety at all times
n
Upholding professional, ethical and clinical standards
n

Essential criteria

n

n
Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a midwife
n
Minimum 2 year post‐graduate midwifery experience
n
Demonstrated experience across all areas of midwifery, including:n n
Antenatal care
n
Postnatal care
n
Labour & Delivery
n
Special Care Baby Unit
n
Outpatients
n

n
Strong clinical skills with a commitment to excellence in patient care
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Professional, respectful and compassionate approach to care
