OnDeck is looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead and develop a team of Loan Specialists supporting their growing broker channel.

What You'll Be Doing:
Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Sales Specialists across the broker lending channel
Supporting the team with complex loan scenarios, escalations and application challenges
Driving team productivity, application turnaround times and service standards
Conducting regular one-on-ones, coaching sessions and performance check-ins
Managing deal triage and ensuring high priority applications are progressed efficiently
Supporting brokers and internal stakeholders through escalations and complex conversations
Working closely with Sales Ops, Credit and Sales teams to improve workflows and operational efficiency
Monitoring KPIs, quality standards and team performance metrics
Helping improve Salesforce workflows, automation and operational processes
Supporting onboarding, training and capability uplift across the team
Creating a positive, accountable and high performing team culture
To Be Successful You:




Have experience within commercial lending, SME finance, broker lending or financial services
Have previous leadership, coaching or mentoring experience within sales, lending or operations teams
Understand loan application workflows and broker/customer relationship management
Bring strong commercial judgement and decision making capability
Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Can confidently manage escalations and high pressure situations
Are highly organised with strong attention to detail
Have experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Credit, Operations and Product teams
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms highly regarded
Experience within a fintech or scale-up setting highly desirable
