About the Role:

Location: Toowoomba, QLD

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Mentor and train apprentices and workshop staff
n
Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers
n
Operate CNC and manual machines in line with drawings and instructions
n
Accurately complete job cards and time records
n
Maintain tools, gauges, and measuring equipment in good condition
n
Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly
n
Assist with general maintenance and workshop duties as required
n
Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards
n
Work various shifts to meet operational needs
n
Support business growth through involvement in recent projects and client solutions
n
Continually upskill and stay current with client and industry requirements
n
n
What You Need:
n
n
Trade Certificate in machining or a related field
n
Minimum 5 years of experience with manual and CNC machining in a manufacturing workplace
n
Ability to program and operate metalworking machinery
n
Strong understanding of steel grades and machining processes
n
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Forklift and loader licences, or willingness to obtain
n
Physically fit and capable of hands‐on work in a manufacturing workplace
n
